I’ve been cooking gluten free since 2008, and I want to share my experience.
Cooking without gluten isn't hard. Many recipes don’t have gluten to begin with, but others just need a tweak or two to make them so. We’ll explore both types. I’ll make the recipes as easy to follow as possible, but will occasionally get a little more complex with cooking skills.
Many of us need to be gluten free
Whether you have an allergy to gluten, have celiac disease, or want to avoid gluten for other health reasons, many people need or want a gluten-free lifestyle.
For people who love food and don’t want to compromise on flavor
Gluten-free dishes are just as full of flavor as those with gluten—as I mentioned above, there are hundreds of recipes from all over the world that are naturally gluten-free. Most recipes that do include wheat flour or other forms of gluten can be adapted to have the same flavor and texture without the gluten, even for many baked goods!
What you’ll get
This Substack will be free to all. I will aim to publish a new recipe once a week. Many will be savory supper dishes, like stews, soups, roasts, and cooked vegetables, but we’ll do some baking too. We’ll also get adventurous by trying international dishes from all over the world.
